Thank You to Our Village

We owe special thanks to the many of you who helped us with the adoption fundraiser in February. We were blown away by the number of people who showed to support and encourage us in our adoption plan. The show of love from everyone was overwhelming, and many happy tears were shed!

All of you are going to help us stand out to a mother who is looking for a loving family and a loving village to take care of her baby. It means everything to us. I’m not crying! I just made dinner, and I diced onions.

Thank you to Ashley Lythberg who quarterbacked this whole thing to help relieve us from planning this massive event. Raffles, prizes, venue, guest lists, invites…Everything! Not to mention the Super Bowl party, squares and strip cards, and everything there!

Brent, Corey, and Erik Lythberg aka “The Lythberg Bros. Band” kept it lively with their music.

Kelly and Brett Trumpey provided an incredible venue and catering for our event. Their staff was so accommodating and provided nonstop service with a smile for three straight hours.

Thank you to Erin Stefanik Photography & her incredible eye for family, portrait, wedding, event, engagement photos! Thank you for capturing every moment of the day and for our adoption photo session! We can’t wait for future family portraits with you!

Jacki Opyd provided “We are the Village” shirts and cookies to help raise funds and make for some incredible memories, photographs, and inspiration. We love getting snaps and texts of our friends rocking the “We are the Village” T-Shirts in their daily lives as a reminder that they’re thinking of us.

Thank you to the amazing women who collected donations by reaching out to local businesses & organizations. They prepped and decorated the prize baskets and set up the day at Tom Kelly’s, in addition to working guest registration at the door and selling tickets throughout the event.
